I took more pictures of Maui and PC this time so their new families could see how they're doing. I think they're actually getting better. Long ago we had a pup who, strangely one day, started making a whistling noise while breathing. Turns out his upper palette grew a tad faster than his lower one. About a week went by and everything was back to normal. These babies just grow so fast. Hopefully that's the case here too.

I swear if you sit and watch them long enough you can actually see them grow! hehehe

So precious! Even though I've been torturing him he still comes over and plops down on my feet.

04/20/2021 Babies are 6 1/2 weeks old and I swear these are the BIGGEST pups I've EVER seen!

You guys know who everybody is yet? Do I need to keep labeling everybody?

Sunday morning and I thought we'd all have scrambled eggs with cheese. Can't hurt to supplement once in a while?

Today we thought we'd try some puppy chow mixed with Pedigree canned, hot water and some raw eggs. Fresh eggs from the farm down the road. Nummmmy!

^ The reason I included this shot is to show how big the feet are on these guys. That dirty pink thing is the toe of my slipper. That's PC's foot. About half the size of my foot. These guys are baby giants! PC weighed 13.3 at the vet at 6 weeks and Maui was almost 12 pounds.

^ The hallway taken from the puppy room. That cage is a safe way to keep them from whomever may be living in the house. Like my old girl, Suji, who just went to Rainbow's Bridge on Monday. So this morning, while trying to let Mama Yo out of the puppy area and into the kitchen with me, there was an escape. Seven of um'! All the little monsters got to explore the house. No worries, getting new flooring as soon as Eric/Ari Two is potty trained. That's card board on the floor in the hallway. Chewed by the last litter. See the hole in the wall on the right? There's a matching one on the left. Anybody who thinks raising puppies is easy money... I have news. Those are from previous litters. So far these guys are ignoring them. Only a matter of time though. :)

Below, these two are seen hanging out together more and more. Like they know they've both been going to the vet together and enduring the same issue.

04/25/2021 Babies were seven weeks old yesterday. Sorry to be sluffin' off lately but having a litter during tax season is busy enough... Worse when a couple of them need special attention. Maui n' PC don't look the greatest right now but I know they feel better. They don't like being separated from their siblings but it's good practice cuz they're both going to homes with only humans. I think.

These were taken on the 23th. Day of tacking surgery. The plan was to take more pictures when Flynn and Elsa's people got here on the 24th.

Below, Elsa's new family. Those are the girls who nicknamed this litter for us. Got one shot and knocked the camera offa' the deck railing and into a bucket of water.

PC's cone > lasted two days. I'm surprised cuz he kept running into stuff with it and then muscled himself offa' whatever he was stuck on.

1st vet visit on the 15th he weighed 12.3. 2nd visit on the 19th - 13.3. 3rd visit on the 23rd - 14.3. A pound every four days!?!? He's the biggest pup.

Flynn and Elsa left yesterday. Rapunzel left today. Easier with four but I miss them already! Kris is leaving on Wednesday. PC is staying until Mother's Day. I think Maui is heading to Vegas between May 2nd and the 8th. And Eric's my boy!

04/29/2021 Babies will be eight weeks in two days! There are only three boys still here. Eric/Ari is staying of course. PC is leaving either the 7th or the 9th on Mother's Day. Depends on when "Hound Haulers" is coming to get Maui. Here are some pictures of us at our new homes with our new friends!

Everybody is gone, except "Ari" of course. I'll try not to get carried away with pictures of my pride and joy. I'm pretty proud of him! He's VERY SMART. And, VERY NAUGHTY about 2-3 times a day, on average. For example; I'm TRYING to work on tax stuff and he's biting my feet with those baby sharp teeth. I told him "No" about three times and then I got up and said, NO! He stops, I TRY to continue working. Now I can feel him biting the back of the chair. He knows he's not supposed to be doing that. (Not our first rodeo as they say?) So I tell him "NO" a little more firmly this time, without having to get up. He backs off and runs over to my pile of shoes. Grabs one and starts shaking it. Can't tell me that boy didn't know exactly what he was doing. "Mama's busy and I WANT MY LUVIN'S!!"

I think she said something about sharing with the kitties but apparently... Now he has his own I think. Oh and his doggie door is electric. Steph? < Beats me. I turned it TWICE! Just wanted you to see the "naughty ears". He's getting ready to take off and then cause some trouble. I can tell ! :) Eyes lookin' great!

Guess only 1/2 the house is > puppy proof !! List of things in the photo that aren't in their place and don't belong to Ari! Shoe, stuffed toy, paperback, toilet scrubber - no kisses from him for a while! Cord to the cig rolling machine, DIRT out of the potted plant, markers and coloring book, kitty detangler, kitty toy, coupla' unidentifiable paper products and that's just in about 4 square feet...

Aren't they precious when they're sleeping? Ari follows me EVERY_WHERE!

I find myself dying of thirst but unwilling to move cuz he'll hear me and awaken from his wonderfully peaceful nap! The futon has a tiny squeak and he hears it. Already ruined him on the begging thing. Throws those two giant front paws up on my lap and stares at me. Ooops!

06/11/2020 Babies will be 14 weeks old tomorrow. Seems everybody is doing well. We've had some adventures and we're all just about potty trained! Prince Kristoff/Ronin is going to start training for the show ring! That's exciting. Maui/Maui has riden on one of those paddle board things. What are they called again? Maui and Prince Charming/Kuma are lookin' good... Well, enough talk. How about some new pictures!?!?

I've got some new shots of Eric/Ari still on the camera. I'll get to those in a minute.

Some of us will be starting our puppy classes soon. The vast majority will no doubt be at the head of our class.

I had forgotten what a challenge raising a puppy can be. I think Eric/Ari has chewed, licked or simply disrupted every item in this house!

< At home Maui has an electric doggie door. He's got a devise on his collar that triggers it. His new mama said he found that broom out in the back yard and brought it in. Apparently he thinks mama needs to sweep up around there. I'm wondering how that little baby figured out how to get that broom through that little door???

His eyes are lookin' good. Both boy got their stitches out. Let's pray that's the end of it. So handsome!!!

And, last but not least, my baby boy. So handsome! The vet asks me, "Did you know he only has one testicle?" I'm thinking, now how would I know that? :) I pretty much stay clear of that stuff. Would it be inappropriate to ask everybody to pray for my baby's balls? hehehe It's probably not a laughing matter but you know me. The denial thing rears it's evil head. He's still very young. It'll come down.

07/05/2021 Babies will be 4 months old tomorrow. Actually, 17 weeks and 3 days. Eric/Ari has had all his puppy shots and his rabies shot so he's all set. Their computer system was down at the vets during his last appointment so I don't know how much he weighed. His feet and front legs are bigger than his mothers now.

Rotten pictures but you can still see their legs and feet. He's FINALLY slowing down on the biting and thank God this is the month they should start losing those nasty sharp baby teeth.

< YoYo is amazingly patient with the little wad. Look at that chunk of her face in his mouth!
