01/22/2020 3 1/2 weeks now. Saturday, at 4 weeks they'll get their second de-worming. First pick family are coming to meet the gang on Feb. 1st. That's soooooooo fun!!!

Suppose I could take off the, just in case I get out and it's huntin' season, collars. Pete and I designed and made a bunch of those. They just slide over their regular collars. Blaze orange and 3M reflector tape. Just in case!

01/23/2020 2 days until 4 weeks! I'm going to go register the litter as soon as I get done here. They'll send baby registrations in about 2 weeks.

I'm feeding them in the cage so I can keep mom out of it without having to stand guard. They already come to me when I make kissy sounds. Cracks me up! That didn't take long. What? A week? No they'll stop pooing and peeing in the cage and use that stictly for eating and sleeping. Like when you crate train the crate becomes the safe den.

01/24/2020 Tomorrow is 4 weeks! I just got new de-wormer today and I registered the litter. We're all set!

That's their mother's food. Loretta is not going to share! She's the sassiest. She barks and growls and pretty much runs the show. Akita through and through. hehehe

So I gave um' some dry > Puppy Chow. But, decided it makes me too nervous. I don't want anybody to choke so we'll stick with slop for a few more days.

Dolly = 6.25 lbs.

Garth = 5.5 lbs.

These are as close as I can get. Have you ever tried holding a puppy in a card board tray, that's balancing on a baby scale, while trying to read the damn thing? Not the most accurate!!!

They're starting to be fun to hang with. Patsy came up > and rested her head on my knee. SO CUTE. Couple minutes later she crawled up into my lap and went to sleep. Until Loretta came bargin' in.

Everybody is walking a lot better today. Almost all four legs underneath them were they belong. :) Some more coordinated than others.

Those boots will have to come out of there soon. My buddy Patty says I'm not allowed to let them chew up shoes any more. She's no fun!!! People couldn't figure out why their pups liked to chew up tupperware... Oops! Well, I run outta' stuff to keep them occupied. You can't put good/expensive toys in there unless they're poo proof! Haven't found anything with that qualification as of yet. :)

The last time I fed them I did the kissy noises and they all came running. One was sleeping and she jumped up and ran towards us. Too funny. They know when it's chow time!

Keri n' Scott are comin' to pick their puppy this weekend! I can't wait!

They're starting to be little monsters. In the following shots you can see a couple of um' irritating their mother. Look at those teeth! She' trying to teach them. They don't back down! They growl at her. Some nerve! Pretty sure I'd back down if somebody had those teeth in my face!

Today, when I went in and sat down with um', Reba spent the most time in my lap. She's hilarious. Comes over and barges in and then throws herself into my lap. Definitely the most easy going. Loretta climbed on and off several times. She's a busy girl. I coughed kinda' loudly and Patsy barked at me. :) She loves me too but she's not as pushy. She usually only has a foot or two and her head on my leg. The others were mostly just chewing on me.

< SOMEBODY needs to get Loretta under control!

01/31/2020 FIVE WEEKS tomorrow! They're just learning to run. Kinda'. They think they're so cool. It's hilarious!
