11/15/2018 Babies are eight days old and I think I've almost got identification under control. Almost.
These are some really nice babies.
I think when their little ears go down that's a sign they can hear.
I think they're starting to hear. My voice seems to calm them.
11/17/2018 Babies are 10 days old!
More mob shots. I'll try some individual shots later today. Or tomorrow. I'm going to start puppy slop tomorrow. They're all fat and sassy but mama is getting thin. I've been holding them all one atta' time and telling them their Bible story. Kinda' fun. Instead of just babbling all the time.
11/18/2018 Babies are 11 days old!
Only took one nose dunkin' for most.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, I think, all the boys are available. Any of you guys, who don't already have boys at home, can switch, if you want to. In order of deposit/contact date.
Can you guys tell them apart yet?
11/19/2018 Babies are 12 days old!
I'm not choking them! hehe
11/23/2018 Babies are 16 days old!
Took these yesterday actually, Thanksgiving Day. Very thankful !!!
Moses sleepin' on his mother's rear. Nice and warm and mushy.
Here he > comes, ready to commandeer whichever spot he wants. The gentle GIANT. Sometimes not so gentle. hehe
Their eyes are finally opening.
Jezebel, probably telling her mother how she wants things run around here, or worse. hehe
Moses is cruisin' around the best so far. I think he and Miriam are the biggest.
Sarah, full of puppy slop.
They're starting to play with each other. Becoming little people now! Soooooo fun!!!
I think that's Maggie below.
You can see the pen and paper but I'm still not sure if I get this 100%. Too many of the little turds. :)
I'll keep workin' on it. You guys are welcome to come and visit any time now. End of next week will be the cutest ever!!!
11/24/2018 Babies are 17 days old!
Sorry but, no pen and pencil today. Just fun shots.
If you'd like to save any of these pictures, simply right click and save.
They are saved on here by the date they were taken so we know how old they are.
Time for a bigger pan!?!?!
Startin' to cruise! They already go as far away as they can to go potty. Some of um' anyway. hehe
< There's everybody. Can you tell who's who?
Me neither. No, I can, but I'd have to use the process of elimination.
I'll round up somebody, in the next day or two, who will come and help hold each baby for several photos.
11/27/2018 THREE WEEKS tomorrow!
I think that's > Miriam. I took these the past couple days... Miriam is the darkest and the biggest. She may even weigh as much as Abe. The tank!
I think that's > Maggie in the pan and Moses behind her.
Bo and Chelsea are comin' up on Friday. They'll help me hold the kids and we'll get some good shots. With pen and paper! :)
First I've used the shredded paper. Not sure I like it.
11/28/2018 THREE WEEKS today!
I locked her out. Otherwise she pulls on my sleeve and tries to pull me out. Apparently she knows when the flash is coming too. hehe
12/01/2018 3 1/2 weeks. They are real little people now. They're also starting to get gray from living on newspaper. This is probably the most precious age.
Their whelping box/cage seems to be getting smaller and smaller. So, today we had our first adventure. I fed them outside their cage. A couple of them weren't too happy about it at first.
Above, it looks like Sarah put on some lipstick for our outing. (Puppy Chow)
See their little tails are starting to curl. And, all those pink noses have turned black.
You'll also see that Sarah is the most unsure of herself at this point. I'll try to help her with that.
She'll do fine but probably not a good choice to be Jaushua's service dog.
Moses is the eldest but I think Abe might be alpha. He's the most advanced at this stage. He climbs right up into my lap. Loves his gamma'.
I don't know who that is, causing trouble already. >
Bo and Chelsea didn't make it up here this weekend. Bo forgot that Chelsea had exams. They're comin' on Thursday.
Miriam has the darkest coat and I think the biggest girl. Jezzy is the lightest color. Ruth is the smallest.
12/02/2018 25 days old and we're climbing out of the whelping cage. So, I took the boards off the door and WE'RE FREEEEEE!!! God help me!
Today Sarah seems fine with everything.
Miriam is playing sissy role today. She must not like change like her gamma' Jan. So I take back what I said about Sarah not making a good service dog.
Moses wanders around complaining cuz he wants his mother. Jonah doesn't seem bothered by anything.
They were eating their mom's dog food so I gave them some dry food of their own. I'll still feed them slop for a week or so. Now you see why I converted my Kirby vacuum's hanging accesseries holder into a free feeder. They can't quite reach that yet though. They spill way more than they eat.
It's still hard telling a couple of the girls apart. I can spend more time with them now that they've turned into real people. Ruth and Miriam are obvious. The other four are so similar, if I can't see their backs we're outta' luck. I'll weigh them all tonight before I feed um' again.
^ Moses in the back, climbing over bodies, to get to HIS corner.
Most of um' went back into their den but I just checked on um' and they're all sleeping by the back door now. Took their mother's water bucket out so nobody could fall in... Put in a flatter dish.
YoYo and Ahmee's breeder, Samantha, sent me the picture on the left. With my line the black faces always stayed black. Apparently that's not the case any more. The lower 8 pix are all the same dog and a couple of the pups look just like that. I thought they all just looked like their father and Sam corrected me. :) Only time will tell.
Out of space again. Time for PAGE #3
