These little angels were born May 2, 2023
The little brown and white pinto girl was born at 10:30 a.m. Her tail is almost 1/2 white and 1/2 brown. She's got a white nose. The pink will turn black soon. There's a black stripe down her forehead. Don't think we've ever had this color before. She's beautiful !!!
The little black and white pinto girl was born at 2:55 p.m. She has a white nose with a short white blaze. Bigger than her sister. Her tail is almost totally white and she has some white spots on her back as you can see. Nice head. Another beautiful baby! SHE is SPOKEN FOR!
Then comes little boy. He's cool. Never seen one like him. Little racoon. He was born at 5:55 p.m. He's got the least amount of white. White 1/3 of his tail and a half white collar. He's also got a white muzzle.

We lost one little guy cuz it took too long for him to be born. I tried to revive him for roughly 45 minutes to no avail. He was black and white too. Another little person was born who looked like maybe his/her umbilical cord got pinched off. He/she wasn't fully mature. But, the three little gifts we do have are doing great.

I took pictures almost every day but didn't start their pages until they were 4 weeks old so I don't know the exact age here. Probably about a week and a half.

I de-wormed them at three weeks and will continue every two weeks until they leave. I didn't see any worms so we're all healthy, chubby puppies.

Noses are almost all black now and their eyes are starting to open. Started feeding them Purina Puppy Chow slop at three weeks. The little guy was the last to figure it out. The boys always prefer Mama.

I can already tell that the little boy is sweet and calm. The big black and white girl is happy standing in the background and watchin' stuff.

They're starting to cruise around now. Becoming real people. In another week I'll let them out of their puppy cage and they'll have the whole puppy room to explore. I gave them dry Puppy Chow this morning and they were working on it but I don't trust um' to not choke on the stuff. We'll keep makin' slop for a couple days.

Does it get any cuter?!?!? I love this stage. Their teeth aren't deadly yet! If I label anybody incorrectly lemme' know. Those two gray babies have very similar faces.

I figured, but funny, we've never had a pup that looks like this. Below is a photo of baby Shiyoko - "YoYo", their mother. Spittin' image of baby boy.

Took these this morning. 05/31/2023 4 weeks old yesterday. Dry Purina Puppy Chow. Tails are up and we're getting big. Bet they already weigh more than my year old Pomeranian. hehe > > >

06/05/2023 Babies will be 5 weeks old tomorrow. Boy did that go quickly! I put their mother out in the kennel this morning and let the POMS in to play with the babies. Malolatka, "Malo", turned one in April but she only weighs about 5 pounds. Moose was a year old yesterday and he's still a tad heavier than the 5 week old babies but not much. hehehe

Tomorrow I'll de-worm everybody for the second time. I haven't had the heart to cut them offa' their slop. So so enjoy it.

Moose is such a sweetheart he submits to the pups. Somehow he knows and he's trying to get on their good sides. hehe

6/22/23 Babies are 7 weeks and 2 days old! The darker girl is moving to Neenah, Wi. The other two are still available.

< He's watchin' his kids playing in the kitchen. Look at where his head is compared to the height of the counter top. He's starting to blow his coat. That's what the top of his head is doing. Oh goodie! He is such a gentle giant.

< It's hard to get his picture cuz he's constantly following me around. He's a soft soul just like his daddy.
< She's ALL AKITA! She seems to be alpha. First born. Not always the case but it is in this litter. She's probably going to be the boss in her new family. Course, she'll need to be corrected on that plan.

Their ears are starting to go up. Almost at the "Flying Nun" stage. Feet are HUGE! Constantly looking for trouble. I put their mama out in her kennel during the day, when it's not too hot, so she gets a break. Still spends the nights with them and she's still letting them nurse. She lets um' know when they're being obnoxious!

6/28/23 Babies were 8 weeks old yesterday. The darker girl went to her new home on Monday. Her new name is Dakota, "Koda".

< Moose, the POM, has a bone and he growled at boy-boy a couple times. Made the little guy nervous so he's chewing on paper and staying away. He really has a precious temperament.

They've been de-wormed three times now. They still get to see their mama at night and she still lets them nurse. That keeps them healthy until they can get their shots. She goes out in her kennel during the day. We all need a break!!

< I miss her already. Her new daddy sent me a few pictures but I don't know how to get them from my phone to my computer. Got a couple shots of her meeting her new kitty. Surprised the kitty isn't hiding under one of the beds or something. Brave kitty!!! She was an angel on the trip to meet Ben and Charlee. I thought maybe I shut her head in the hatchback cuz we didn't hear a peep for the first half hour, 45 minutes. Until we stopped to get gas. Then a couple wimpers and that's it. Good girl !!!
Time to go out and get their mama. It's almost dark. More soon!!! The little girl with her ears up is still available!!!
07/07/23 Babies are nine weeks and 3 days old today. Boy, Boy just left last weekend. His new name is Felix. The dark girl left almost 2 weeks ago. They're calling her Dakota "Kota" or is it "Koda"? I better ask. Everybody is doing great so far. Felix just went to the vet and got a great report. He weighed in at a hefty 19.5 lbs.

Today I put baby girl outside in the kennel with her mama. New experience! The kennel is actually two kennels and a horse corral. I poisoned the weeds like 4 times and the corral is still over run. The other two I used the whacker. That baby got from the first kennel to the second kennel no problem. She wanted to be closer to me and the POMS. We went out for a walk. Anyway, when we got back baby was in the big corral part of the kennel. I was worried she wouldn't be able to find her way back. Not a problem. Went out to check on her and she was back in the first kennel with her mama. That's VERY SMART!
She had to navigate through giant weeds and two gates. Exceptional hehehe

< 9 week old Akita pup compared to a year old POM. 20 lbs. vs. 5 but the 5 pounder thinks she's 200 lbs. I have to really watch when I let them play together. The Akita baby could really hurt the little one. Drag her around like a stuffed animal. And we know how our Akitas are with stuffed animals... :)
This baby girl is available and ready to go any time. I'd love to keep her. Lookin' pretty show quality to me.
