Here's my boy!!! April 10th, 2018

Almost 3 months old. Ever seen a more PERFECT Akita!?!?!?

PERFECT! Perfect head, perfect ear set, perfect neck and chest, perfect tail, perfect feet!

Akitas, and other large breeds, tend to go through some weird gawky stages. They grow so fast you could swear you're actually seeing them get bigger. One day you wonder if a giraffe got in the yard. The next day a donkey, the next a Great Dane... But, they say, 12 weeks is the best indicator of what the babies will look like as adults. Well, if that's the case, WAY TO GO ALEX!!! I couldn't be happier!

These were taken in his 12th week.

It's got his new name on it and my name and it's OFFICIAL!!!

Apparently the rules over there state that Ari has to be getting his big boy teeth before he can fly to America. That's proof of age. We just have to wait for teething. (4-6 months) Here I simply have to get a vet certificate stating the puppy is healthy and 8 weeks or older. So we wait. Bummer, I wanna' hug him!!! Plus, the bigger they are the more money it costs to ship! But, he's worth every penny!~

Domo Arigato is HOME!!! Today is his first day as an American.

06/03/2018 Ari has been here for two weeks now. It's seems longer. Puppies are a lot of work!

Some of these I took about 5-6 days ago. It's amazing how fast they grow! He'll be 5 months old on June 14th.

First days out in the little kennel. It shares a couple walls with Ahmee and Whiskey. I'm just putting him out there a little atta' time.

5 1/2 mths.

I LOVE him so much!!! He's mostly a very good boy. His back legs, from the knee to the toe, are already about an inch longer than Grommet's. I think his front feet are bigger too. We had to play a little All-Star Wrestling yesterday to make sure we were both on the same page. Funny how that happened at exactly 6 months. Pretty sure we've got it straight now. I'm sure we'll have a few more page straightening issues before we're through. I was TRYING to untangle the leash and he wanted a circus! He's getting too big to play circus!

Most days I put him out in the kennel, next to the girls, but he's in the house with Grommet, Suji and I at night. I'm still climbing over puppy gates. :)

Fortunately he doesn't.

I've been tying YoYo on the chain and hanging on to Ari so they can meet without the fence in between. Not the greatest plan but it's what we've got.

April 6th, 2019 My baby is officially an American now. He passed all his immigration stuff. He's registered COR and AKC.

His head is getting really nice and he's HUGE!
